Free Webinar: Mining for StoriesMissed out this webinar? Check out a recorded session on YouTube.
Your personal stories help listeners better understand what you value, believe, and feel. Consequently, we use stories when interviewing to communicate our skills, when teaching to convey our ideas, and when leading to light the way. Your stories matter, but how you choose to share them determines whether they will matter to someone else. Sharing stories begins with finding them and then determining the right ones to tell. But how do you reflect on your experiences to find powerful stories? Look for the lessons first, and the stories will follow. What's most significant is not what you experienced, but what you learned from it. Those lessons shaped you and continue to guide your work and your life. And it’s those lessons that others can use to inform their own journeys.
In this FREE, 60-minute webinar, you’ll learn strategies for mining your life for lessons, finding the experiences that resulted in those lessons, and transforming those experiences into stories. Mastering personal storytelling begins with you. |

I wish Hadiya could have had more time to speak on this topic. Her samples were impactful and the resources she provided have the potential to change the way I write scenarios moving forward. I would love to see this integrated into other scenario topics for a full-day session... Overall, though, Hadiya was a fantastic facilitator and provided learners great tools to begin working on storytelling in scenarios.

Loved the authenticity of the speaker, especially since she was discussing making the story authentic. She has great energy and her slides provided high level info but she really brought out the detail in how she spoke about each topic. 10/10 would love to see more from this presenter!

So FABULOUS! Loved getting the tips on where/how to find the stories and to focus on the character (learner) instead of the organization. Thank you!
